Frequently Asked Questions

Is this a family-friendly cottage?

Cottage is family friendly, but please note there is no barrier on the water front.

What do we need to bring?

We’re usually very good with keeping most of the necessities, but sometimes stuff slips under our noses. Please bring a couple rolls of 1-ply toilet paper, soap, and a bag of fire food. Also note that water is lake intake, so please bring water for cooking and drinking.

Lastly, you’ll want to bring bedding. We currently have two queens, one double, one twin and a double pull out couch. Please take some time to think about anything else you would need for the week.

When can we check in and when do we have to leave?

Check-in is available at 4PM on the day booked and check-out is required by 11AM on check-out day. The cottage is only available for booking from Saturday to Saturday.

Are we able to have fires?

Fires are permitted in the included fire pit. Please don’t make the fire too big, but feel free to enjoy yourself around the camp fire.. after all, what would a cottage trip be without one?

What about fishing?

Fishing is definitely good on this lake! Please have a fishing license & keep on eye on what you’re allowed to keep. There’s lots of tasty fish you can cook up for dinner.

What about drinking water?

The water in the cottage is lake intake. There is a water cooler, but please bring drinking water.
